ok, ok, what on earth is a niche?

Businessmen say it "neesh", scientists say it "nitch". It's the same thing. It comes from the French word, to nest, and simply refers to finding a key set of influencing factors that determine your product. Ok, what was that? It means finding a focal point. Something that makes you unique. A gimmick.

Why do I bring it up? because 9 out of 10 get rich ideas on the internet require that you find a niche in order to make some money. Now if you're going to be wary of internet scams, the first thing you should do is understand what they're talking about!

A niche is like THE golden ticket to making money on the internet (yes, it is actually possible). Just a small area to focus all of your content on that gets thousands of visitors a day. If you want to do anything with google advertising that makes tons of money every year, or selling products for some affiliate company or, even starting an online company - a niche is what you need. And a niche is not easy to get.

The reason why a niche is so important is because if you want visitors to your website, they NEED to be able to find you. The more focused your website is, the more likely you'll be in the top 10 of google's list, rather than the bottom 323,300 or something. The way google works is by digitally scanning your website and reading all the words and things you've got going on in your site, and based on that information, you get placed by relevance. This is why you need that niche. So that google thinks your website is dead on about whatever someone searched for... as in... joe schmoe searched for rocketships. The site that mentions rocket ships 5 times, and rocket engines etc, will be listed higher than the site that listed rocket ship, wedding gown, dog potty, and so on. It's a relavance game.

What's my point? Any website that promises success in the first week is a scam! Any program that offers the ultimate tool for making money is absolutely full of it. The reason why, is that they scam you into believing that it's easily possible for you: man or lady on the street to do so! It's not. It takes hours and hours and hours of work to even get enough people to your site to make any money. The tool or ebook may be helpful... if you've had a successful website getting 1000 hits every day and just decided you'd like to make some cash off of it, but they never tell you that.

The truth is, most of the money they make is from selling their scams to you! So watch out please. Making money takes time, unless you want to sucker people.

Which is a load of bull.
